Alcantara is part of motorsport: grippy, matt and premium. No wonder more and more Audi RS, BMW M and Mercedes-AMG drivers upgrade their interior with it. This guide shows which parts can be refined, how ready-made parts differ from an individual project and how to keep your Alcantara looking good.
Which interior parts can be covered in Alcantara?
Almost everything you see and touch in the cabin. At the Netz-Werk Shop you will find, among others:
- Steering wheel: on the Alcantara steering wheel for the Audi RS6 / RS7 C8 the entire rim including the back is covered, plus the airbag cap with double decorative stitching and an embroidered 12 o'clock marker. It is supplied without the airbag.
- Dashboard, centre console and door panels
- Seat trims, rear-view mirror, gear gaiter and door sills
- Details such as door handles, air vents or seat adjustment buttons
Ready Made Interior: finished parts for your model
Ready Made Interior means the part is defined – you choose vehicle and colour variant and order directly. Current ranges:
- Audi RS6 C8 and Audi RS7 C8 – from the steering wheel to the tailgate trim
- Audi A3 / S3 / RS3 8Y – door handles, centre console (pre-facelift and facelift), dashboard side trims, air vents
- BMW M2 G87, M3 G80 / G81 and M4 G82 / G83 – steering wheel, side trims, seat shell covers
Important: before ordering, compare the parts shown with those in your vehicle – for example pre-facelift or facelift, with or without the memory cut-out on the door handle.
Individual project: a complete interior from a single source
If you want more than single parts, have the cabin designed as one coherent concept. With the Alcantara interior kit for the BMW M2 / M3 / M4 or the Alcantara interior for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class G63, dashboard, door panels, trims, seats and centre console are re-covered in original Alcantara. You choose the Alcantara and stitching colours.
A good match is the coating of interior trims: chrome strips, buttons and other elements get a satin, matt or gloss finish or your custom colour.
Such projects receive a personal quote. Scope and price depend on material combination, finish and additional refinements.

Caring for Alcantara: three simple rules
- Dry-clean regularly: brush with a soft brush or dry microfibre cloth so the pile stands up again.
- Treat stains immediately: dab with a slightly damp, clean cloth instead of rubbing.
- No harsh cleaners: solvents and aggressive household cleaners can damage the material. If in doubt, test on a hidden spot.
Regular care pays off on the steering wheel in particular, as skin oils mat the pile over time.
